The Centre

To improve the quality of life for Indigenous people in an urban environment by supporting self-determination, equal access, and participation in Canadian society that respects Indigenous cultural distinctiveness.

The Kapuskasing Indian Friendship Centre is learning to better serve its community. The wants and needs of the community is a focal point of the centre. Utilizing existing systems to meet the wants and needs of our community is an important part of a solution the centre follows.

You can read about our Origin Story, or check out who is on The KIFC Board that are helping us navigate through this awesome journey.

We have a very modest section for The KIFC Team. The team consistently works with Our Community, people, and partners throughout the region.
